And, while on the job it might make it awkward for my boss to correct me if it might make both my aunt and me feel bad. Planning on paper is fun, but nothing can take the place of really landing in a foreign airport and feeling the blast of air from a new climate on your face. Of course, the traveler reading their way into a country will never run of money partway through a trip. Nor do they have to worry about robbery or terrorism. While a real life traveler experience the excitement of buying food and getting directions, sometimes in a foreign language, the home-based traveler has all the maps, dictionaries and videos to refer to. Naturally, the home traveler can stop anytime. However, the virtual traveler can’t bring home the souvenirs of a trip such as music, food and new friends he discovers on a trip. For me, taking a trip somewhere always beats virtual travel.
