139. What do you consider to be the most important room in a house? Why is this room more important to you than any other room? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

What is the most important room in a house? Different people hold different view. Some people think bedroom is important because we spend most of time of our life in it. Some people think kitchen is important because we cook, drink and eat here. If I were faced the same question, I would prefer to the living room. In the following discussion, I would like to reason and provide evidence to support my opinion.

The most important reason that I cannot neglect is that living room in fact is people’s entertainment room. Nowadays, life is stressful and competition is fierce. Everyone need relax after work. What is their best choice? Nothing is better than back home sitting on the sofa to watch TV and movies or listen the music in the living room. Entertainments are nice medicines that can relieve the stress of our life. Also living room is a good room for reading. I like reading newspaper and novels in my living room that gives me much enjoyment. Don’t you love the life like this?

Another chief and head important reason that I have chosen to put here is that living room is a room where we chat, eat and play with our family. Nowadays, more and more children don’t like to talk with their parents, but I don’t think so. I believe that relationship is more important than others in our life. In my family, I like talking with my parents in the living room when I am free. We talk about anything we interested, such as current news, future plans, our friends’ events and so on. I find that not only I get much information from my parents but also I get close with them. Living room is a good place to enhance my relationship with my family. If you can understand this, you can understand my view better.

Last but not the least reason is that living room is a place where we communicate with our friends. When your friends visit you, you and your friends always sit in the living room and talk about some interesting topics. Don’t you think living room is an important room in your house?

Admittedly, other rooms are also very important, we cannot live if we are short of any room. Nevertheless, advantages of living room are more than other rooms. So I would like to choose living room. Do you have the same opinion with me?
