Which kind of role do you like to play in a group? Some people would like to be a ordinary member, while some others prefer being the leader of a group. For me, I want to challenge myself as the leader of a group. There are at least two reasons for my choice.

Firstly, being a leader of group, could have more opportunities to improve all sorts of abilities and skills by dealing with various kinds of issues. Just take my experience as an example, I am responsible for the marketing and business development in my company and there are four subsidiary staff in my department. Since I started to work as a leader of this group, I have developed my ability in leadership, decision making, communication skills, teamwork and negotiation skills etc., which have greatly benefited me.

Secondly, being a leader especially being a qualified leader in a group, you can get more chances of personal advancement and gain more satisfaction from your job. In the leader‘s position, you have to meet and deal with various challenging tasks, by doing it with your staff, you can demonstrate your leadership and secceed in your company. In additon, you will enjoy the happiness and fulfillment that the job has given to you.

All in all, for me, being a leader in a group can make my life more splendid and wonderful. I will get different experiences from it.
