The answer to this question depends on your own experience and life style. In my point view, if we should build a statue or monument to honor someone important to our city, this person is no one else but people in our city. Among countless factors which influence the choice, these are three conspicuous aspects as follows.

The main reason for my propensity for building a monument for people is that people are the greatest resources of our city. (结合自己情况补写……)
