　　Which would you choose: a higher pay job with long hours or an average pay job with normal work hours? Explain your choice, using specific reasons and details.

　　题型：二选一

　　话题：工作类–如何选择工作

　　思路：具体情况具体分析，刚开始上班的时候肯定选工资高的，反正年轻啊，不加班干啥去啊。有钱就行呗。但是随着年龄的增长，会更加倾向于选择后者，毕竟成了家了，年龄大了，身体也不如从前了。再也不能像年轻人那样为了赚钱不顾一切了。

　　今天这个题目感觉所有考生都做过似的。因为它真的太经典了。只要讲到工作类的话题没有人不讲这个题目，在历年题库里搜了一下，类似题目有好几个，比如：

　　2010年10月31日

　　Do you want a stable job with less salary or a job with higher salary but more likely to lose it.

　　2011年4月23日

　　Agree or disagree, a job with more vacation time is better than a job with high salary but less vacation time.

　　2012年7月28日

　　Some jobs pay a high salaries to employees but require them live far away from their family and friends. Some jobs pay low salary but allow employees to be closer their family and friends. Which job do prefer? And why?

　　最让人意想不到的是这个题目跟今年5月7日考得题目也是惊人的相似，我说ETS啊。考过去几年的也就算了。今年刚考过的你就忘了吗?你不知道我们考前都刷300百题吗? (答案其实可以直接复制过来：不信你点我)

　　2016年5月7日

　　Which one do you prefer： 1) a company offering you a job with challenging and interesting project but less vacation days or 2) another company offering you a job that is not so challenging and interesting but more vacation days.

　　我一再强调，考试肯定是原题，考前务必参加冲刺班，认真看历年串讲，咱们的串讲有五年的，无论你是看了11还是15，今天的考题都不会有任何问题。根据7月的几次考试来看，ETS最近基本都是旧题，而且以2010年以后的为主。请大家考前做好相应准备。

　　There is no denying that a high-paying job should be given more priority to in order to make a rational job decision, especially when we think about those young people who are exposed mounting pressure not only because of soaring living costs but also of increasingly fierce competition in the job market.

　　However, there is little justification for a seasoned employee with ample work experience to put salary on the top of the priority list since what is more important for them is to spare enough time for families so as to strengthen family bonds.
